The Dress

I absolutely LOVED my dress. It was comfortable all night and I got so many compliments! My wedding was canceled in 2020 so I had an extra year+ to try it on, and I loved it more each time ;) The dress originally had 3/4 sleeves and a long train but I had it shortened to a tea length high-low hem and had the sleeves removed. The seamstress took the lace detail from the wrist and attached it at the shoulder to make a little ruffle cap and it was perfect! I did not have the dress altered other than the hem and the sleeves. The back has little bow clasps over the zipper, which were such a cute detail.

I typically wear a size 6 and the dress fit true to size. It was fitted at the waist but not too tight, and gave me such an elegant silhouette. There is some shaping to the bust that could be taken out or padded if desired. I'm a 34D and typically never go braless, but felt completely comfortable without a bra in the dress all night. The lace is sheer with a nude layer underneath, but not see-through at all.
