The top is similar to a corset, so it never felt like it was going to slip or fall down. Staying in place was never an issue.
This dress was worn once. It was professionally cleaned and pressed. The label reads 100% silk. The label size is a 10 but I had it taken in. The measurements of the dress are as follows:
chest: 16.5" ---> bust size: 33"
waist: 15" ---> waist size: 30"
hip: 18.5" ---> hip size: 37"
length: 55"
Alterations
the dress was taken in at the sides and hemmed. Push-up boob cups were sewn in - these can easily be removed. The dress can be taken out and made longer. My seamstress told me that she likes altering dresses created by this designer because they are made so well.
