The Dress
The wedding dress was custom made and suits a size 14 frame, it consists of a full skirt panelled and pleated at the waist with a swipe in ivory silk and duchess satin. The bodice consists of french gupurie lace in a swirl design filled in with gold embroidered to enhance the effect.
This same detail has been added to the perimeter of the skirt. It has a raised back collar curving into a deep sweetheart front neckline. The sleeves are full length with slight fullness at the head of the sleeve. There is a series of buttons located on the centre back.
It comes with a full veil and is a perfect gown for remodeling. Currently the gown has been professional dry cleaned, stored in a white protective box complete with blue tissue lining to preserve the fabric. It has never been re-opened since cleaning.
