The Dress

This beautiful one-of-a-kind dress was hand-made in Melbourne by the amazing team at Anna Campbell.

The dress is part of the Gossamer Collection - inspired by French romance, the Anna Campbell dresses are the epitome of timeless, classic elegance and are designed to create a beautiful silhouette for the bride seeking to embody both grace and glamour in a custom crafted gown.

The dress is a combination of the Fiona and Melissa made to measure dresses with additional customisations. It is made from high quality silk tulle, with an intricate lace overlay with beading. I do not think that the pictures do the dress justice - the beading and lace on the dress are exquisite. The dress has a flattering low cut neckline and a subtle fish-tale shape.

The dress was made to my measurements and I am generally a size 10 with a size 10C cup. The dress would fit a petite woman, as I was 168cm with heels when wearing the dress.

The bust is padded and is best worn without a bra. However, a U-bra could be worn if preferred. The most amazing thing about Anna Campbell dresses is their unique ‘wrap around’ elasticised waist design, which enables the waist/bust to be extremely versatile & adjustable in size (e.g. anywhere from size 8-12 and small to full bust). In order to create the silhouette, the underlay is more fitted over the hips so is more of a standard size 10 (but would easily fit smaller).

Due to the ‘wrap around’ waist design, the Anna Campbell dresses are extremely comfortable, allowing you to easily move, eat, sit and dance without restriction.

The dress has been worn only once in August 2015 and has been professionally Dry Cleaned. It is in excellent condition.
