The Dress

I purchased this stunning, dress at Pronovias' flagship boutique on Madison Avenue in Manhattan, New York at the retail price of 15,000. I believe it was the first of its kind and though we've all seen knock-offs of this style, the weight, craftsmanship, perfected lines and fit truly make this dress one of the most beautiful I've ever seen on any bride. My guests and husband were speechless. I wore it down the aisle and for pictures and for some of our opening dances, but I wore it for a grand total of 2 hours before switching into my second, more light-weight dress. My wedding and this dress were featured in Manhattan Bride. It is a dress worthy of being on the cover of any magazine and you will most certainly be the toast of the town for wearing this very spectacular wedding dress.

I've had it professionally restored by one of the most renowned dry cleaners in all of NYC, if not the world, Madame Paulette. Madame Paulette's owner, John Madhessian, is our friend and is also featured on this past season of The Real Housewives of New York. John is featured on the show partially due to his relationship with one of the housewives, but also in great part because of his company's work on gowns worn by Princess Diana, Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue, to Cydni Lauper as well as Jay-Z and Mayor Mike Bloomberg.

It is somewhat with a heavy heart that I part with this stunner, but I reaped so much joy by anticipating wearing this dress to actually wearing it on my wedding day and I'd like to share this experience with another glowing bride!
