The Dress

I got married in May last year, purchased the dress by designer Maggie Sottero in early December 2014 at Raffaele Ciuca and have finally decided that I will sell my wedding dress. I am selling my beautiful ivory lace trimmed dress, with scallop edging and crystal hand beaded details around the bust. It has a key hole open back that buttons at top and zips up at the bottom and has show buttons. The long train buttons up/bustles to the base of bum that create a lovely full gown. The cap sleeves with v neck line give you good cleavage without too much showing and detailed lace motifs fade from top to scalloped trim. The lace is fine and each piece has been hand sown onto the dress, unlike like the cheaper dress in which you can see the outline of material where the lace was original cut from. On this dress each piece looks like it is part of one piece of material from top to bottom.

Very comfortable to wear and when dancing with it pinned up, it swirls amazingly. The dress has been worn only once :) and has been professionally dry cleaned. I had alteration to insert different bra cups (currently c cup), minor waist adjustments, length taken up and reduce the length of the boning in the corset - added comfort without losing any of the beautiful shape. The seamstress left material in the dress length for it to be extended in case I choose higher heels. All alterations were done by one lady in Armadale who specialises in wedding gowns.

Would fit an AU 8-10, and has room to make further adjustment if necessary. Feel free to contact me and I can send you more photos or information. I am 160cm tall and wore 2.5 inch heels and the dress was just about touching the ground.
