The Dress

Super chic Sarah Seven Christi Dress with open back, front center slit, short sleeves and flattering waist seam. Bought as a sample. Worn once. Professionally cleaned shortly after our wedding in April 2023 and in perfect condition with no stains.

Dress is so comfortable and easy to wear. I loved that I just felt like myself on my wedding day and could move easily, especially after trying on so many dresses that were too heavy or restrictive.

For reference: I’m 5’3.5” tall, 135 lbs, 32B, and typically wear a street size 4 and 26 in jeans.

This was my dream dress that I searched high and low to find in time for my wedding, and I would LOVE to make another bride’s dreams come true. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions.

Alterations

Dress is labeled as a size 8. When I first tried the dress on, it was small in the hips compared to other Sarah Seven size 8 dresses I had tried on, which fit perfectly on my hips.

The following alterations were done:
- let out hips slightly (to be more of a true Sarah Seven size 8)
- let out arm holes slightly
- reduce train size
- hem front to floor level (I am 5’3.5” and wore 2” heels)
- slightly tuck in bust darts (very easy to remove these threads)

The dress now measures 42.5” from waist seam to floor in the front. I’m happy to share any other measurements that are helpful.
