The Dress
The iconic Cocotte by the late Dame Vivienne Westwood is a gown with great historical influence – the corset and neckline are inspired by fashionable high society women of the 18th century, and the draped fabric, which sweeps across the shoulders, drapes, and falls from the hip, is reminiscent of ancient Greek statues. This dress fits tight to the body as it has a built-in corset.
This dress was worn for my wedding reception/dancing. This would very easily fit a size 2 as well (I'm usually a size 2 but sized up).
Alterations
I added a hidden bustle and slightly changed the draping on the bodice/bust area. I also shortened it slightly.
