The Dress

Charlie Gown by Danielle Frankel made from fluid wool and silk-blend charmeuse. Raised cowl neck, bias cut silk wool sleeveless gown. Open back with scarf draped accent. Fully lined with side zip closure. Composition: 51% Wool, 49% Silk. Care: Dry Clean Only. I normally fall between a size 2-4US and this size 2 dress fit perfectly (I had also tried the size 4 which was too large). Worn once on my wedding day.

Dry cleaned at a specialized professional wedding dress cleaner. There are some snags at the neck, skirt, and a small watermark on the lower stomach area that are not too visible unless you come close and look for them. This is reflected in the price of the dress and I'd be happy to share more photos, please message me.

Alterations

The gown has been altered to fit my height (mostly the front has been brought up and a little of the train). I am 5’5” but wore 2’5” heels on the day. The back cowl has also been raised slightly to fall at the ideal back height as seen in photos. I also had a loop added to the inside of train so I that could slip it over my wrist while I danced. This can easily be removed.
