The Dress

This beautiful dress by Inbal Dror from her 2015 Venice Collection was such a joy to wear. Comfortable and classic silk crepe on the lower half and silk chiffon for the top half. The side panels and cap sleeves are sheer french lace with intricate beading and crystals hand embroidered at the hips. I also had a belt made to sit at the waist.

The dress was made to measure to the following specifications (cm):

Over bust scope 82.5;
Bust scope 85.5;
Under bust scope 72;
Waist scope 66;
Upper hip scope 77;
Hip scope 92;
Front width (armpit to armpit) 35;
Back width (armpit to armpit) 34;
Bust side to bust side width 37.5;
Middle Shoulder seam to waist 44;
Back length – Middle Shoulder to waist 42;
Waist to floor (without heels) 114.

I typically wear an AU 6-8 on top and an 8-10 on the bottom. I am 5'8" (174 cm) and I wore 4" heels on the day.

I wore the dress for the ceremony and the start of the reception and then changed into another dress for dancing. The dress was professionally dry cleaned and comes with a preservation box. It is in perfect condition, with no visible marks or damage. I am happy to send more photos of the dress as it is now and interested buyers may come and view the dress personally, I live close to the Sydney CBD.

I received so many compliments about the dress both during and after the wedding and I know it will make another bride feel incredible on her wedding day.
