The Dress

A fitted, semi-sheer mermaid gown with light 3D embroidered flowers over silk tulle combines with elegant off-the-shoulder straps, a low illusion back, and sheer inserts on the sides that flow into a dramatic caviar tulle train.

A true dream dress. Worn once for 5 hours. Then was professionally dry cleaned. Height is 5'3”. Wore dress with 3" heels.

My measurements at time of dress purchase:
Bust: 87cm
Waist: 67.5cm
Low Hip: 94cm

The size of my Maya gown is 42. The waist measurement for a 42 is 74cm, the bust is 96cm and the hip is 102 cm.

Alterations

I’m 5 foot 3 inches tall and wore 3 inch heels. The dress was shortened and taken in at hips and bust. The straps were also tightened. The straps can be worn up or off the shoulder or removed.
Wore a detached slip underneath as the fabric is sheer on the sides. Will include the slip with purchase. Based on comfort level slip isn’t necessary. Cups were placed in bust for lift.
