The Dress

Purchased for $1300. The dress is Allure Bridal size 10, which was altered in the body to fit my measurements - I am a typical Size 8 waist and hips, and a 10D bra. The dress was hemmed to floor length I am 5'4" (about 162cm) in height. There is beautiful thick lace detail on the bodice, and I had 60 additional satin buttons sewn down the entire length of the back, a loop added so that the train can be hooked up for reception and the dress becomes an A'frame gown, and bust pad inserts for extra bust shape (easily removed as just tacked in - I wore a bra however these would allow for none to be worn if preferred). The back also creates a beautiful round train. The dress has 'fake' back buttons in that it actually does up with a hidden zip. The inside is lined with a soft satin and there are multiple skirt layers of English net(about 7 layers of material make up the skirt, under layers tule/top chiffon layers). The top layer is more like a soft chiffon. I wore this dress from 11am until midnight and found it extremely comfortable. Photos all courtesy of Curly Tree Photography, Merewether, NSW. The dress came up absolutely amazing in photos, huge potential for beautiful photographs particularly due to the bodice detail, shape and the round train.

The dress has been dry cleaned and is currently stored in a large box in acid free paper. I am happy to negotiate post/courier to people outside the Newcastle, NSW area, however as a cost to the buyer.
