The Dress

This beautiful Essence of Australia wedding dress has two looks in one! It features a luxe taffeta fit and flare silhouette dress with a stunning Alencon lace overlay with tank straps and a sweetheart neckline. The dress features a detachable floral accented ivory sash belt that sits at the natural waist. Scalloped lace hemline and is finished with a low back and a chapel length train. It has two bustle hooks, one on each layer which are perfect for moving and dancing. I wore this dress twice as we had 2 ceremonies 6 months apart. Both times professionally dry cleaned. Picked up a little weight between wedding so I added a button to it to ensure the hooks stayed in place. In saying that there is a little bit of wear and tear to the seam of the taffeta but it is not visible when worn. The lace is in perfect condition.

This dress made me feel so special on my wedding day. It has the perfect mix of sophistication, style and elegance. The bodice is well boned to ensure you feel comfortable and secure throughout the day and the dress carried me perfectly from the court room to the reception and dance floor.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and has been in a box for the last 6 years and has only come out to see if I still fit into it and to sell to the next lucky owner.

Alterations

It will be easy to tailor to fit if you are a 10-12 or slightly larger as the original size is 12 -14. There is therefore a large enough seam allowance if alterations need to be made.
