Never worn Essense of Australia white satin dress with pockets!

The dress has beige mesh detail in the v neck and along the sides/under arms, and white mesh with boning in the back. Buttons run all the way down the back, some are functional. I loved how this dress fit in the store, the only reason I did not end up wearing it for my wedding was the (out of state) bridal shop sent the wrong size and the local seamstress was unable to take it in enough in time for my wedding.

I've included some photos from the in-store try-on so you can see how the dress falls, please note that the sample dress was much smaller, which is why it is bunched in the back. The dress in the listing is a size 22 with alterations, the white mesh and boning lays flat.

This is a gorgeous, classic dress with luxurious satin that flows wonderfully and is not too heavy. I found the dress breathable, I intended to wear it in Puerto Rico's hot and humid weather. I LOVED how it snatched my waist and made me feel elegant. I carry all my weight in my lower belly and I found this A-line cut to be extremely flattering.

The dress was never worn outside, but there is a tiny bit of dirt on the edge of the train from trying it on for alterations.

Alterations

Original dress is a bridal size 22, I had alterations done but the dress was still too large for me. Alterations included hemming the length, shortening the straps a little, and bringing in the sides — I included photos of the altered side panels where the seamstress removed some of the beige mesh panels on the side.

I'm normally a size [removed]DD. The dress with the alterations is much too large for my bust, so it would either need to be taken in more or go to someone with a larger bust. I had the dress hemmed to wear with 3.5inch wedges, I'm 5'4.

-Length of the skirt from the top button to the longest point of the train is 64 inches.
- Length of the dress from the top of the strap to the longest point of the train is about 82 inches
