The Dress

The simply gorgeous, elegant and vintage style lace ivory wedding gown by Wendy Makin. I am a size 8 -10 usually, so this dress would fit an 8 to small 10.

This gown was truely a dream wedding dress, extremely comfortable all day whilst figure hugging fit to show off your shape. The gown has a sweetheart strapless neckline, a boned bodice, and a beautiful hidden zip with a row of delicate pearl buttons.

The gown colour is ivory, with beautiful French Ivory Lace covering the silk gown.

Bought and worn once in November 2014

The length had not been altered at all. I am 171cm tall and wore small heels on my wedding day and it was perfect. There is a bustle on the underneath of the dress that I paid to professionally have put in by the seamstress so that you can tie the train up at the reception if you don't want it hanging on the ground, but I didn't ending up using it. There is also straps inside the bodice to attach to your bra, if you choose to wear one, so it won't be visible at all out the top of the dress and it won't slip and slide around which made it very comfy for me on the day.

The dress can easily to altered to suit many different body shapes.

It has been professionally dry cleaned and kept in a cover. The original dress comes with an ivory silk sash that can we worn around the waist, I still have the sash but I did not wear it.

On the underside of the train, on the lining, so not visible when wearing the dress, there is one small mark that did not come out with dry cleaning. It is approx 5cm in diameter and is just from wearing the train out.
