The Dress

Hi,

I am selling my beautiful wedding dress that I wore to our wedding in April 2016, I absolutely love it and hope to pass it on to someone else to enjoy on their special day.

The Watters Marnie gown is light and airy, soft A-line gown features a plunging neckline, beautifully sculpted with Venice lace motifs on illusion tulle, a dreamy soft net skirt with pearl buttoned back, double faced ribbon sash, chapel train. Lace, netting, ribbon and veil are in Ivory, with ivory lining.

The dress is a US size 6. I am an AU size 8 top & AU size 10-12 bottom & 5'9". I had the dress altered at the top only to fit my bust which is 81cm & waist 68cm I also had bust enhances sewn in which can be removed. I had the ivory skirt lengthened by 8cm so I could wear heels on my wedding day. The dress has a train and I had 3 x bustle loops put on so it can be pinned up to dance the night away!

The dress was only worn for a few hours on my wedding day and has light wear as expected.

I have not had the dress dry-cleaned as I thought the person that may buy it may have it shortened which may eliminate any need for dry cleaning - alternatively if you love the dress as is and would like it dry cleaned I can arrange for an additional cost. Matching veil is also included it is a simple finger tip veil.

The dress was only worn for a few hours on my wedding day and has light wear, the train being tulle is a delicate fabric and there are 3 very small holes in the fabric in the back of the dress. However when wearing the dress these are not noticeable as there are three layers of tulle (but could always get the dress maker to nip them in) the tulle has some light marks from the evening (dust etc.) but could be spot cleaned out or as mentioned above if you get the dress/tulle shortened you may not need to.

The hem of the dress was extended by 8cm with an ivory fabric - this hem has dust marks as it is a floor length gown, however if you removed the hem extension to have the original dress under layer it would be in excellent condition.
