I loved my Rachel Gilbert wedding dress and I would love to pass it onto someone for their big day. Wearing this dress made me feel beautiful, timelessly elegant and confident. It has a very feminine fitted shape with a subtle mermaid silhouette, flattering for all body types and heights. Also has a stunning low back design which is why I chose it over other designs. It was also extremely comfortable, easy to walk in and dance in.

Dry cleaned with no stains or marks. Some beads have fallen off due to normal wear and tear but not noticeable for most people (spares provided if you wish to repair). There are fabric runs on the inside lining of the dress, though you cannot tell from looking at the dress on the outside. More photos available on request.

Alterations

Shoulders and bottom front hem have been shortened to suit my height to floor length
The back length is as original
The beaded layer and first lining have been loosely hand stitched together to enhance the hem look for walking down the aisle (i.e
so it stays flattened / flared out, especially at the train)
Also added hidden loop underneath so you can hold the train for dancing
Added bra padding but it is not sewn into the dress - you can easily cut off the thread if you don't want to keep
Altered the location of the waist clasp (as I have a slightly wider waist than the original fit), but the dress waistline itself is as per original
I have a spare piece of material with beads should you wish to make further alterations
