About the Dress

This is a stunning dress. What I would consider a vintage style, not a traditional wedding gown. The beading is just magnificent and it is very comfortable for dancing and moving around. The dress includes a cape that I did not end up wearing as it was very hot but the cape could be added for the ceremony and removed for the reception. The dress also includes a single layer cathedral veil as well as an overskirt that can attach at the waist with hidden hooks if you choose to wear it. Retail on the dress is $8000.00 and I purchased for $5000.00 from a sample sale in good condition. Dress has not been dry cleaned and there is slight wear on the straps which could easily be cleaned or easily completely replaced if you choose. The dress could also be altered and shortened for a reception dress which would be fun as the beading that hangs moves when you dance. I received so many compliments on this dress and felt AMAZING wearing it. I hope someone loves it and enjoys it on their special day as much as I did.

Alterations

Shortened to fit me. I am a little over 5 feet and wore 2.5 inch heels and the dress just hit the floor. The dress was very sheer with no lining and I added a nude lining from waist to floor and added nude cups to the bust area (no bra is needed with dress). Those could both be removed for a completely sheer look. Can send additional photos if requested. Price negotiable if you do not want all the accessories.
