The Dress

Beautiful Rue De Seine Sophia Gown (including grace blouse). It was a stunning dress for my big day and it would bring me much joy for something else to wear it and feel as wonderful as I did. My wedding was near the beach and this dress was incredibly comfortable and relaxed to wear, whilst being flattering and classic. Worn for ceremony only.

Description:

Sophia Gown - size 10

100% Silk Dupion (raw silk fibre) with 100% silk lining
Fitted bodice with triangle cups and role straps
Fitted waist yoke with full pleated skirt and subtle train
Back zip opening with covered button detail

Grace blouse - Size 8

100% French Lace cropped blouse with open back detail
3/4 sleeve length with scallop lace detail on bodice and sleeve
Button closure at the neck.
No modification made to sizing, however a small hook and eye was added to the bottom to close around lower back if necessary. Easily removed if necessary.

The dress can be sold without the blouse if necessary.

The dress and blouse were purchased from The Bridal Atelier in Melbourne and both items have been professionally dry cleaned a month after the wedding by Syndal dry cleaners. I have proof of purchase from Bridal Atelier and proof of dry cleaning if required.

The dress and blouse are used but are in as new condition with no marks, staining or soiling as I changed into a second dress for my reception.

The gown is a size 10 and has been professionally altered (slightly) around the bust. I also had the straps reduced (so they didn't slip down my shoulders) .

The dress has been hemmed with a slight scoop in the front as I wore amazing custom designed shoes. However a 9 cm hem remains so it could be made longer if necessary. I am 166 cm and wore 7 cm heels and dress just touched the floor on the sides.
