About the Dress

The skirt of my dreams! Everyone thought this was a dress until I made a dramatic change into a shorter skirt during our first dance. This ensemble is SO flattering. The skirt hides the hips/love handles and makes the waist look teeny tiny. Also the train is STUNNING and because the fabric stays spread out, it keeps the veil spread out too. Lovingly looked after and wish I could get married all over again just so I could wear this but it would be a tragedy for this to go unworn. I would love someone else to get to feel as beautiful as I did - make me an offer!

I am usually a size 10-12 and bought a KYHA size 4 then had the skirt made smaller as I lost some weight before the wedding (however, tailor did this in such a way that it can be easily made back to its original size). It is in near perfect condition, only worn for the ceremony and dinner and then swapped the skirt for a short one. Has been professionally dry-cleaned but note one of the lower layers on the train of the skirt has a tiny rip but seriously unnoticeable due to the abundance of tulle (happy to provide a video).

Alterations

Alterations: I had the clasp of the skirt moved along the waist band to make it smaller - this could be moved back to make it the original size again. I also had a button and loop system put inside so that the top was attached to the skirt (however, as this is inside it can easily be removed if not wanted). The skirt was slightly shortened (I am 179cm tall with my heels on).
