About the Dress

BARGAIN - OPEN TO OFFERS selling very cheap as I live overseas so cannot facilitate try-on's or dry cleaning. The dress is stored at my parents house in Wollongong (NSW) who are downsizing and need the dress gone asap. The dress was not cleaned after my wedding day so unsure what marks will come out vs what may stain. Primarily it is around the bottom that is marked (from contact with the ground/floor) and a drink stain on the front two layers of tulle (mark doesn't appear on the subsequent layers). Would suit a buyer willing to take the risk for a cheap price and clean themselves (or someone working with a seamstress who could use the crystals/bodice/ample good condition fabric). Pick up only from Wollongong, NSW.

Dress is a gorgeous ballgown style, with sweetheart, strapless neckline, swarovski crystal detail on the bodice, soft, flowing full skirt and lace up back.

As soon as I tried this dress on it blew me away - I actually hadn't been looking for a ball gown style but when the bridal consultant put this on me, I instantly fell in love! The dress feels beautiful on and photographs incredibly well, perfect for creating dramatic wedding shots.

The bodice is hand embroidered and features swarovski crystals which gives some glamour but not over the top 'bling'. There is further crystal detail as the bodice meets the skirt part of the dress. The skirt volume is more 'gentle' than many typical ballgowns as the skirt is very soft and gradually fills out to full volume with many layers. There is a soft, manageable length train which can be buttoned up as the day goes on and you want to start dancing.

It is very comfortable to wear and the lace up back means it is easier to personalise to your sizing. I am quite petite in my top half and this dress nicely accentuated my waist and bust. Length wise, the dress was altered to suit me - I am approx 165cm tall, and was wearing heels approx 8cm.
