The Dress

This stunning 'Aggie' gown with Lou Lace was made to measure by the talented Kyha and her One Day Bridal Team.

It is a simple and slim fit, with a V neck and low cut back. The underlay is an incredibly comfortable stretch silk satin in ivory. It holds you in in all the right places! The crochet lace is to die for, it has an amazing texture and really is a feature of the gown. The lace panels are intentionally cut to create contours on the body and flatter all of your features. This dress also has a moderate sized train which is unlined to really show off the detail in the lace.

The dress conveniently has a hook to wear over the wrist and hidden buttons on the underside of the lace to allow for bustling for the dance floor.

I am a size 8 and 162cm tall and I wore a 10cm heel on the day. I am an A cup bust and the dress has been fitted with padded cups to prevent the need for a bra. Given the stretch of both the underlay and the lace this dress would most certainly fit a size 10.

The dress code for our wedding was 'Garden Party', a very relaxed summer wedding, and this wedding dress was just perfect. Given the fit and low cut back it would definitely also be appropriate for a more elegant wedding.

The dress has only been worn once on our wedding day, December 4th, 2015 and has been professionally dry-cleaned.

Because of the nature of the lace it was impossible to hem, therefore is cut raw at its full length. There are a couple of sections of the lace that you may like to re trim to ensure a neater edge.

Despite being well dry-cleaned there are a couple of very unnoticeable discolourations around the hem.
