Reselling my iconic Vivienne Westwood Nova Cocotte gown in heavy silk satin. It’s unbelievably flattering, with the signature corseted bodice that cinches the waist beautifully and the romantic draped neckline. Despite its sculptural look, the dress is incredibly comfortable and easy to move in - I wore it all night with ease. I had a few small alterations done - The top draping was pinned slightly to give it more shape, the waist was taken in a touch, tiny cups were added to give a touch more bust support and a bustle was added so I could move and dance more easily. The original length was left as is, so there’s lots of flexibility for the next bride. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is ready to wear. There are a couple of light marks on the train and some light pilling along the bottom edge that are relatively light and easy to miss. Inside the dress, a couple of the bustle hooks have tiny tears around them, which are hidden on the inside and easy to reinforce if needed. If the dress were hemmed shorter, most of the minor marks would likely be removed entirely. Wearing this dress was such a special experience and I’d love for another bride to have the chance to wear it and feel as amazing in it as I did. Can include my beautiful Atelier Elise chapel length veil that matches the colour perfectly (retails $900)
