This Darnelle wedding dress by Madi Lane is a breathtaking embodiment of elegance and romance.

It is an altered, new and unworn dress as I fell pregnant before our wedding day and sadly was unable to wear it.

Crafted in Madi Lane’s signature Crepe ivory fabric, this A-line silhouette beautifully skims the figure while providing comfort and grace. The off-the-shoulder neckline, subtle v backline and thigh split adds a touch of daring femininity with classic elegance.

You will receive the dress in its original garment bag, pick up Brisbane or paid postage.

Alterations

Purchased a size 8, but it’s had the following alterations at a reputable Brisbane Bridal alterations
Sleeves have been sewed to create a Grecian ‘off the shoulder’ look, with room to lift arms for photos and dancing
Busy was taken in and cups added for security
The natural draping on the waist has been sewed in place, to create the ensure that drape was visible and a smooth eyeliner down the dress on the day (as a easily bloating coeliac, this was a must!)
The waist was taken in
French bustle was added, and fabric brought in to create a figure flattering curve when the train is out
Length and 23 inch train has been shortened, but still provides that dramatic entrance
