Vivienne Westwood, Made-to-Measure (Similar to a Mabel/Galaxy Hybrid)

Made-to-measure, one-of-one Vivienne Westwood wedding gown.

Originally purchased as a made-to-measure Mabel Gown from the Vivienne Westwood Bridal Boutique in London. The corseted bodice was custom made to my measurements, and the dramatic cape from the Galaxy style was added at the time of purchase.

The gown was later further customized by a separate couture seamstress to make the design even more bespoke: the sleeves were removed and the slit was closed, creating a refined hybrid of the Mabel and Galaxy Cape styles.

Features a curved strapless neckline that beautifully highlights the collarbones and shoulders, paired with a mid-back cut for a flattering, elegant fit. The gown drapes effortlessly through the body and moves fluidly when walking or dancing.

Because the corset was made to measure, the bust fits closer to a UK 8, while the waist is slightly smaller than a standard UK 6. Exact measurements below.
