Vivienne Westwood, Galaxy Cape

This stunning Vivienne Westwood Galaxy Cape gown is in beautiful condition and has been professionally cleaned by Bentley Garment Care in London.

The dress was designed and made to order through The Loft Bridal in Hong Kong, an official partner of Vivienne Westwood London, where the gown itself was produced.
I wore it for my full wedding day, so there are a few very minor signs of wear: a little snagging right at the hem where it touched the ground (not visible when worn) and some faint marks on the inside lining at the base of the skirt, also not visible when worn. The dress was incredibly comfortable all day—when you’re in something this iconic, you truly don’t want to take it off.

Sizing & Fit:
UK 10, altered to fit a UK 8 perfectly
I am 5'2" and wore 3.5" heels; the hem was tailored to remain floor‑length at this height
Includes a bustle for ease of movement later in the day

Key Fabric Details:
Main Gown: FSC-certified crepe satin (73% acetate, 27% viscose).
Cape: Organic silk georgette.

Cape Detail :
The gown comes with the detachable signature cape, which flows from the top of the corset back. It was a breathtaking alternative to a veil. There is one small pull at the very bottom of the cape where it brushed the ground.
