Suzanne Neville, Degas

This is a Susanne Neville dress (Degas) from her 2024 Symphony Collection. I purchased from Wedding Atelier in November 2024. I have the original receipt and am happy to share with anyone who is interested.

The dress itself has a scoop neck corseted bodice with off the shoulder straps and a ruched fitted skirt in satin crepe. The sleeves are detachable and easily snap on and off, so the dress can be converted to a sleeveless style. The color is a warm creamy ivory, as shown in the photos. I have a long ivory veil (also purchased from Wedding Atelier) that I’m happy to include as well.

Comfort was important to me, and I was pleased that this dress allowed me to move comfortably all night. The corset top allows for flexibility (e.g., you can tighten it for photos and loosen it for dinner, if you choose). The corset also eliminates the need for shapewear around the waist, as the fabric + corset combo provided good coverage. I also have slight hip dips, which I was worried about, but I was really happy with how the dress helped shape my body.

I am about 5’9” and needed to hem the dress to accommodate 55mm heels. Otherwise, alterations were minimal to fit my measurements. The dress has a bustle for ease of walking / dancing after the ceremony. The bustle is easy to do and consists of 5 ties — I have a video of how to do it so that you can practice.

I loved this dress so much, and I hope someone can give it a second life!
