The Dress

This dress was from the 2016 collection from Mikaella and is still available on their website, under Style #2070.

It is an embroidered tulle/tulle dress. The top is cross-over sweetheart dropped waist bodice with gathered embroidered tulle and has an invisible zipper at the back. The skirt is a multi-layered tulle skirt with horsehair detailing on hem. The layers of the skirt shows beautifully with the hems and is a good in-between for an A-line skirt and ballgown. There is also a beautiful chapel train at the back with a ribbon hoop within the skirt to shorten the train if necessary.

This dress also come with a removable beaded belt (it is unpictured as I wore the dress without the belt).

The dress is pearl in colour, so depending on the lighting of the room, there may be a very slight pink hue to it. However, the pink hue is not noticeable – I did not realise this until it was pointed it out to me when I purchased the dress, and no one in my wedding noticed minus my professional photographer when she was arranging my skirt!

This dress has been used for an afternoon and has been professionally dry cleaned. The dress is in perfect condition without any signs of wear and tear.

This dress has only been altered at the hem for my height - I am 5ft3 and wore 4 inches heels for the wedding.
