Essence of Australia - Santorini dress. Style D3763.

Originally £1,500 bought from Ava Rose Hamilton Bridal shop. Alteration costs £200 and cleaning and preservation box cost £190.

Details
The Fabric is called liquid crepe. Description from the Essence of Australia website are; “Sleek and chic, this sophisticated column sheath wedding gown combines modern runway fashion with timeless elegance. Alterations
I have had the dress altered to fit me, my measurements at the time (taken by my seamstress who altered the dress to these measurements) were Bust 33inches, waist 26 1/2 inches, hips 36 inches. I am 5ft 2 and had the dress taken up to allow me to wear 3inch heels.

Some cups were added into the bust of the dress for a little more support, these have been tact in so can be removed or moved if required. I can provide photos on request.

I requested a ribbon loop to be added on the underside of the train so you can hold the train on your wrist, I also requested a hook and eye be added to allow the train to be bustled up in an American/over bustle style (I have photographs of both available as I used both on the day) other than the ways to manage the train there were no amendments or alterations made to the dresses style.

Bust- 33
Waist- 26.5
Hips- 36
My usual dress size- 6

Extras

Wore for one day only (my wedding day). I have since had the dress professionally cleaned and stored in a preservation box with acid free tissue paper which I purchased from my cleaner to ensure proper storage. I will include the dresses original dust bag and then the preservation box within the sale.

Imperfections

This dress does have a few minor imperfections as this dress was worn on my wedding. The imperfections have been listed below and photographed, please contact me before sale to allow me to send over photos for full transparency of dresses condition:

1. There is a loop on the 5th button which has come loose. The loop is still attached on one side it will just need stitching back to secure
2. Missing beads on the shoulder area and a small section on the back at the bottom of the V and top of one side panel. This is not very noticeable, I have been told by my seamstress that this is really common with beaded dresses as they are attached with one string of clear wire onto net material however I was assured that beads can be added back in really easily you will just need to buy some similar beads to match if you did want to patch
3. A few slight pulls on the lower stomach area and one by the beaded section on the front of the dress which I have taken detailed photographs of however, I believe this is common with pre worn dresses of this material and is only noticeable if pointed out
