The Dress

This is a beautiful ivory 2-piece dress by Q'Nique.

The Mandy bodice is a cotton-look lace with concealed snap closures at the back. It is a slightly racer back/cut in style, so it is not boxy in the shoulders.

The Mala skirt is one layer of chiffon over satin with a small train. Invisible zip and hook and eye closure at centre back. It is not the same as the one seen on the Q'nique website - it was custom ordered from the bridal shop I bought it from, to sit on the natural waist instead of on the hip. This means that the bottom of the bodice slightly overlaps with the top of the skirt.

This is the sample dress from the bridal shop but had only been on their rack for a couple of weeks. I had to buy the sample dress as didn't have enough time to order one from the designer and have it made before the wedding - I was on a tight time frame!! I ended up stumbling upon another dress the day before I was booked in to have this one altered, and ended up wearing it instead.

So, this dress is currently un-altered, just waiting to be fit to you!!!

I am 176cm tall and about 10-15cm of the skirt at the front pools on the ground - so plenty of length there for taller brides to work with.
