The Dress

This dress design is 'Elizabeth' and is designed by Anna Campbell. It is made of 100% silk and silk chiffon. The top is a medium size and the bottom is a small size grecian style skirt so it is fitted around the waist and the skirt flows beautifully from the waist down. . it has beautiful embellishments, one in the front under the bust and the other over the back of the shoulder and down the middle of the back. The waistband is elasticated so it is flexible for sizes between small to medium and has silk chiffon that wraps around the waist and ties at the back. I also purchased an extra piece of silk that can be wrapped around the waist and tied at the back which is how i wore it on my wedding day.
I am heart broken to part with this dress, however it is so beautiful and i would rather it be worn again than sit in my wardrobe for the next 20 years!

This dress was altered by a tailor recommended by the retailer. Extra silk was purchased from the designer and used to add extra gathering around the bust line to accomodate a larger bust size (fits D cup). It can be worn with a specialised bra or without (i am a Dcup and a bra was not needed). it was hemmed for a hight of 163cm (was worn with high heels and also flats later on in the night).
Despite being dry cleaned there are a few very faint marks on the train at the back of the dress right down the bottom. However the flowing nature of the skirt makes them very hard to see. When being worn i don't think they would be noticed at all. I only saw them on very close inspection of the chiffon however i wouldn't feel right if i didn't mention them. There is also a mark on the silk belt however this can be worn on the opposite side and it would not be seen.
