The Dress

This dress comes in 4 parts, a Bodice, underskirt, velvet waist tie and the beautiful Selena trains over the top. All 4 pieces were made by Karen Willis Holmes

I chose not to have the 3 parts sewn together so that in the evening I had the option of removing the trains for a slimmer silhouette....Great for dancing!!

The Bodice:
The Bodice is fitted with boning and has a corset back tied with ribbon. Cup size is C. The colour of the bodice is described by KWH as nude but I think it is more a pinkish nude than a tan nude.

The Skirt:
The under skirt is a slim fit which flares out slightly at the base, it has a 1m train which you can see in the pictures and is silk.
The outer skirt is made up of loose chiffon trains which sit in a ballgown shape when still but move behind you slightly when you walk.
I am 5"4 however had the skirt made for high heels and some extra length, would comfortably fit size 8 up to 5"7
Both the under skirt and the 'Selena' trains bustle easily...though you will need some help from one of your bridesmaids :)

It's such a beautiful dress that it seems a little sad to pack it away in a box, it should be worn again!

This dress has been professionally dry cleaned; as it is a full length dress, the under skirt has slight discolouration from the day. It wouldn't show up in the photos, as it is not visible unless you knew to look for it, the dry cleaner has done a fantastic job. No other damage to the dress other than this.
