The Dress
Absolutely stunning hand made full length wedding gown featuring a bodice of sequins and pearls on a flower design, leg of mutton style below elbow sleeves, 27 covered buttons down the back from neck to below waist and on the sleeves and a train. There is a net underskirt sewn into the dress.
Also includes a waist to floor length cotton boned underskirt with netting to give the dress a fuller look.
I had both a short and a long veil made as I could not decide, both are included in the sale.
This dress was made in the UK by my very clever late aunt who was still sewing in her 90s. She only charged me for the material which cost one thousand pounds, and that was in 1996 !
The waist of the underskirt is elasticated but was left untied to accommodate a perfect fit throughout the day and evening. This could easily be altered to just one size
One button has lost its cover, easy to replace
