The Dress

Selling my gorgeous Pallas Couture 'Amarante' gown that was custom made at the Pallas Couture Boutique.

The dress has been hand crafted from beautiful French lace and crepe silk and has been customised with hand sewn beads ALL OVER the bodice to give it that extra sparkle. The original Amarante gown is lace only which looked a bit flat. You really have to see this dress in person to appreciate how delicate and intricate the beadwork is. The sheer long sleeves have also been taken off the original Amarante design yet still keeping the 'off the shoulder' look with lace and beaded sleeves wrapping around the upper arm only. The lace originally shown on the Amarante design at the bottom of the dress has also been taken out as it was too much after the bodice was so heavily beaded.

The gown features a sheer lace and beaded bodice which hugs and supports the body creating a beautiful waist. It fits snug to the body around the torso and and hips before fluting out gracefully from the thigh. It has a stunning sheer back with lace/bead appliqué and a long train, with silk covered buttons that run down the length of the back. The train is can be bustled/hooked up for comfort and ease of movement during the reception if you wish and also has hand loops.

I wore this gown in December 2016 and loved every second of it. I received so many compliments on the day. I would love for someone else to feel as amazing as I did In this stunning piece and feel it's too beautiful to sit in a garment bag. I had a very short and small wedding so I've only been in that dress for a few hours at most.

Dress is size 6 but I put on a few cm's in between the time of purchase and my wedding so it was altered to fit an 8 so this could definitely fit a smaller girl too. Fits a size B-C bust.

I'm 168cm tall and wore 10cm heels on the day. There's a detachable layer of tulle at the front which will shorten the dress an inch or two if you're a shorter girl. There is also an option of adding an extra layer of tulle if you're a taller girl.

Pallas Couture 2.5m fine tulle veil is also included in sale. Fits into the hair with bobby pins and loops. Veil RRP $700.

The gown and veil have been professionally dry cleaned at Stannards, the recommended dry cleaner of Pallas Couture. Please feel free to contact me regarding questions or to arrange to view or try the dress. I will be happy to accommodate.

Although the dress has been dry cleaned, due to the delicate nature of the material, there are some minor scuff marks at the very bottom of the dress which the dry cleaners couldn't get rid of. It is actually where the bottom of the dress touches the floor at the front/sides so unless someone is lying on the ground next to your feet, it's not noticeable. There are also some dark patches on the underside of the train but again, not noticeable unless you go looking for them.
