The Dress

2016 Hera Bridal– Custom Made. Purchased new for $3800 and has been used once for our wedding on the 10th September 2016. Strapless, sweetheart neckline with boned bodice and lace up back gives great shape and very flattering. No tag size due to it being custom made but I would normally be 12-14 and the lace up gives room for size changes.

This is a very classic, romantic dress which will look great in photos for years to come. It is made of French Chantilly lace (with one layer of tulle on top to create a softer/floaty look). You can also see a similar design under the 2014 Bridal Collection – Hibiscus. I had this design modified by changing the fabric and with a dropped waist. The dress still has the tulle straps but I decided on the day to tuck these in for a strapless look. Dress is fully lined and I needed no extra support.

Bodice is fitted to above the hips where it softly comes out to a beautiful floaty skirt.

Dress was dry cleaned one week after the wedding and is currently being stored in a preservation box in acid free paper. Dress is in great condition. Due to the location of our wedding, part of the lace and tulle on the train is slightly pulled. I am 165cm and had very tall heels so this can be amended by having it altered and taken up.

I loved wearing this dress on my special day and as hard as it will be to sell it, it is too beautiful be kept in a wardrobe or box so I hope that another bride can feel as amazing as I did on my day :)
