THE DESIGNER:

Inbal Dror is a renowned bridal designer from Israel, who trained at the prestigious Shenkar Fashion Academy in her home country, and also apprenticed in Milan. Dror has become one of the world’s leading bridal designers, with one of the most influential collections to arise out of the Israeli design movement. The Inbal Dror bride is feminine, fashion forward and the centre of attention!

Inbal Dror boldly strides towards a unique reinterpretation of the traditional wedding dress with every season.

THE COLLECTION:

This beautiful gown is from the Inbal Dror Paris 2013 Collection, which was the epitomy of Israeli Designer perfection.

From the Designer: “Inbal surpassed herself by taking previousely designed styles, in 2011 and 2012, giving them an extra zest, using new French Laces, Tulles, Pearls and Swarovsky Stones. The new 2013 collection is reflecting back, bringing vintage designs back to life. We are sure that this collection will bring happiness”

The style BR-13-23 and was purchased from Helen Rodrigues in Mosman, NSW in 2015. The “champagne” colour is as beautiful as it sounds! The dress includes Swarovski rhinestones and ribbon detailing over the lace on the entire dress.

The dress can be bustled to be made shorter, and a further ribbon for your wrist for further shortening if required.

A WORD FROM VICTORIA:

When looking for a wedding dress, all I knew was that I wanted anything but your typical wedding dress, whilst maintaining a timeless elegance – a tricky combination!!!

The first dress I fell in love with, was the one worn by uber-blogger Brooke Testoni on her wedding day (http://www.brooketestoni.com/2015/01/our-wedding/) - her black and white photos were absolutely timeless and the dress was everything I had ever imagined.

Whilst trying on different designs, as much as I loved the process, I struggled to find a design that made me as excited as when i first saw Brooke's dress. Then I hit jackpot - I first noticed my dress in the Salon, because of it’s champagne colour and knew I had to try it on – finally I felt like a bride! The design was extremely flattering, the colour just devine, and most importantly, I felt 100% comfortable! Then when I looked up the design code, I was blown away - I realised that I had picked out the exact same dress as Brooke's, but in the different colour! With the addition of the little straps, my dream dress was a reality!
