The Dress

The Kelly Gown and removable Clarisse Train are seperate pieces, and together they make a unique look from two elegant Karen Willis Holmes pieces.

I'm happy to sell them as either a pair or individually.

The Kelly Gown is a classic, graceful wedding dress. It has a sweetheart neckline, button-up back, hidden zip in the skirt, built-in bra cups you could remove if necessary and corset boning for structure.
The skirt starts in the small of your waist, skims over your hips then follows the shape of your leg before flaring into a soft mermaid shape with a small train. There is also a bussel-bow to tuck up the train on the dance floor.
The silk twill fabric is thick so it doesn't cling, and has a gentle shine. The whole gown is lined in satin so it feels super silky and comfortable on.
Minimal alterations by the Karen Willis Homes seamstress. I'm 160 centimetres tall and wore a 10 centimetre heel. My waist is 69 centimetres. Any good seamstress should be able to fit this dress to someone with a similar size.

Karen Willis Homes velvet ivory waist band to be tied in a bow is included with the dress.

The Clarisse Train is designed to layer over a dress, adding drama and femininity. The skirt starts from around the small of your waist and is made of Mille Feuille circle organza panels in layers, making a soft, full skirt that streams behind you into a train.
The skirt is attached using a hidden hook and eye waistband closure. It comes only in one length so is guaranteed to fit any height. The waist measurement is currenlty 27.2 inches (69 centimetres) but could be adjusted in or out.

If you'd like to wear two stunning looks without changing your dress, you can remove the Clarisse Train for the reception or maybe before your first dance.

I loved this beautiful dress and hope it makes someone else feel lovely on their wedding day (and save a little $ too!).

There is a small pull inside skirt lining at the back. Not visible when on. Otherwise the dress is perfect.
Both the dress and skirt have been professionally hand washed not dry cleaned.
