The Dress
The gorgeous Gisele from Grace Loves Lace with an ivory silk underlay (I chose this over tan as it wasn't my skin colour and looked odd). The Lace train was extended to 80cm with custom buttons inside and outside the skirt for personal preference.
The French Lace is stretch to allow for curves and give that figure hugging look.
It measures small all over except bust medium.
The measurements I gave grace loves Lace for this dress to be made were as follows:
Bust 90cm
Under bust 77cm
Waist 70cm
Hip 97cm
Shoulder to floor 142 cm
Heel height 10cm (average heel)
I had the straps altered as the halter wasn't supporting my breasts without a bra, so I had a dress maker add straps around arms to pull the sides in and support bust.
This also took the pressure off my neck so that the dress didn't pull on my neck all night.
The new Giselle design has something similar but they have added across the back straps which I found took away from the backless gown wow factor!
