The Dress

I wore this stunning Monique Lhuillier gown for our wedding in March this year. It was the most comfortable and flattering dress I had tried over my two year search! It really was a dream to wear; the fabric and fit is beautiful and it isn't heavy like a lot of gowns.

The gown features a narrow illusion sweetheart neckline (approx 1 cm), embroidered detailing, with an asymmetric hem that reveals soft tulle. The dress is fastened by an invisible zip and hook and eye at the centre back. There are clear buttons and eyelets to bustle the dress if you like. I didn't make any alterations, however I am sure it would be possible if required. Bust cups have been hand sewn into the lining, and could be removed or changed if desired.

The label size is US 2, which is an AU 6. I am normally a size 6 or small 8, depending on the label. I am 158 cm tall and wore 10.5 cm heels.

I had the gown professionally dry cleaned. It is in pristine condition.
