The Dress

Floor length white trumpet dress with lace overlay. Worn only for the reception and some photos, as I wore traditional saree for the ceremony. Has been professionally dry cleaned.

I am normally a size 6-8 and 152cm tall. My shoes on the day has a 7cm heel.

The dress has a feminine, fitted silhouette thanks to the curved v-neck front, low back, and the way the material sits. It has a fitted satin underlayer (with a little bit of stretch) and an extensive hand beaded layer over the top. The low back zip is covered by buttons (with eyelet loops). I was able to change out of saree and into this dress within minutes during the photo shoot, so they're not hard to do up! It has a medium length train, and is bustled at the back, so you can shorten the train to dance etc if you wish.

I loved wearing this dress and it was the one I kept going back to after trying on several dresses. It was comfortable, non restrictive, has built in cups to give shape and support to bust (I'm a D cup and I felt secure all night) and the boned bodice ensured no unsightly lumps and bumps! I was able to enjoy my wedding day without worrying about how to sit/walk/dance in my dress. I had this dress taken in at the waist, a bustle added and more lace added at the bust so it wasn't so low cut.

This dress cost me over $4000 and I paid $450 to get it professionally drycleaned. Please contact me if you’d like more info or more photos. I'm happy to negotiate on the price.
