The Dress
This beautiful dress was made by Karen herself after our initial styling session at her Sydney warehouse. All my following 5 fittings were with the wonderful Karen.
I am normally a size 6 (sometimes 8) with size 10C bust. I am 165cm tall and the dress was worn with 2 inch heels. The train is approximately 2 meters long.
*apologies for the quality of the photos; 6 years ago, when I got married, digital files for the web were not offered so these images are the photos from my album taken by my iPhone or images I saved! I chose the photos that would best show off the dress.
The dress is a combination of two of her couture dresses and is made out of 60 meters of silk organza. The dress is super light and comfortable.
Very minimal and tiny speckles of Swarovski crystals scatter on the bodice, but not obvious. It was just enough to catch some hints of sparkle in some lighting.
It has been professionally dry cleaned by Syndal's Bridal Dry Cleaning in Glen Waverley and stored on a hanger in dry, cool place.
