The Dress

General description:

Three piece wedding dress from CM Sposa, JULIET Collection (Mermaid line).

The overall look is romantic and sophisticated. Noteworthy is the use of fabrics and applications from lace, chantilly, satin, tulle and light brillé. The chromatic effect is airy, slightly transparent on the top part. Embroideries are enhanced by micropearls, crystals and subtle paillettes. The gown is composed of three stratas of materials (lace, satin, tulle) and is very comfortable to wear.

The design is versatile allowing adjustment to varying tastes and seasons/ weather. For instance, the top can be worn with spaghetti straps for an elegant, youthful look or with mini-sleeves for added sophistication (and if you are like me, to hide some roundness on the arms ☺️). In a cool day or evening, the satin cape adds warmth and an extra level of refinement. I married in November and felt very comfortable yet stylish wearing the elegant cape when outside making pictures or taking in some fresh air with guests.

Measurements:

- Top: Chest 42cm, length (with shoulder straps) is 46cm.
- Gown: Waste 36cm. Length of the gown (front) is 89cm. The mermaid tale adds another 42cm on the back of the gown (i.e., 131cm).
- Cape: 72 cm wide, 204 cm long.

The set sells for 550 Euros, all three pieces. Comes with complimentary tulle gloves and veil. Comes with the original protective cover from the atelier.

The top and cape are in pristine condition (as new). The middle layer of the gown has two faint stains that are, however, invisible under the top layer.

For those interested on the cape only, it sells for 175 Euro.

Alterations

The piece was ordered from the catalogue and made to measure. Mini-sleeves were added on request to the standard catalogue piece and can be removed easily.
