The Dress

Congratulations on your engagement. This is the Lucinda dress from Karen Willis Holmes. It was worn in May 2017 for my wedding and is in excellent condition. This dress retailed for $2989 and the belt was $100.

It was originally purchased as a size 10, but with some alterations is closer to a size 8. The lower half of the garment was brought in a few cms. The top half did not need to be altered as the lace up back allowed for it to be worn tighter or looser. This dress would fit a street size 8-10. Additional alterations included small bust cups and a bustle. The dressed was hemmed to my height which is 168cm plus an additional 5-6cm for heels.

The dress is made of heavy twill which has a beautiful shine to it, and delicate french lace over the bodice and peplum. There is boning in the bodice. It has a chapel length train. It has been cleaned and soaked at home by my talented mum, with no visible marks. My dress maker recommended this over dry cleaning due to type of fabrics.

The sale will include the belt for free if you would like it. It is an ivory embellished belt, also from Karen Willis Holmes.
