The Dress
This is a handmade, hand dyed gown from local designer Rockstars and Royalty. Featured at Fashfest 2015, this gown was part of the 'Cherries in the Snow' collection and is the sample piece from the runway show. Worn only twice - for the show and then at my wedding - this gown is in immaculate condition. It was modified to fit my standard size 10 shape and DD bust, and a fully adjustable corset makes it easy to size up or down for shape or comfort.
Each of the Swarovski crystals on the bodice were glued by hand, starting as clear crystals at the neckline then becoming more pink toward the waist. The flowers on the bodice were all hand made and attached by Peony and Pearl, another local designer (the original dress was adorned with fresh flowers).
The skirt is hand dyed ombré red, with several layers of beautiful tulle and a petticoat underneath.
I felt like a complete rockstar and princess all at once in this true work of art gown.
