The Dress
A beautiful 1920s style Jenny Packham ‘Foxglove’ dress, which I loved wearing for my wedding day. It looks ethereal, very elegant and is really easy to wear.
The dress is in two parts – an ivory silk slip and a beaded overlay slip. Both materials flex so there is great freedom of movement and so it conforms to different body shapes and sizes. The beads shimmer in an understated way, particular in low light, which is really lovely.
The dress is a size 10 but due to the style and material of the dress would easily suit between a street size 8 -12. I was probably closer to a street size 8 on my wedding day.
The dress was altered to remove 1.5 inches from the bottom of the dress. To give you an idea of its length, I’m 172cm tall and wore 2.5 inch heels and it just skimmed the ground.
Please let me know if you would like to try it on. Given the beading and delicate fabric I won’t be posting it.
