The Dress
Worn at our beautiful wedding this summer! The dress is the Claire dress by Coren Moore but looks very different than on their site because of the alterations. Our wedding was a small dinner party so the dress was only worn a few hours and has since been dry cleaned with no spots or stains remaining. The dress is a size 4 and my measurements are bust 34, waist 27, hips 41. I am 5' 10" and wore Jack Rogers sandals and the dress was the perfect length for me. During alterations the straps were removed, hips were let out (not all seams were let out so there is more to give), upper body was taken in, more boning added, more crinoline added for a bigger poof at the bottom, and a French bustle. The dress was very light to wear and easy to sit in. The seamstress said the lace was very forgiving for any alterations needed to be made.
