I fell in love with this amazing designer dress from Cape Town as soon as I saw it. I had been looking for a light satin dress and found it super hard to find in the States, but Elbeth’s design was exactly what I was looking for! This dress comes directly from Elbeth Gillis, one of the premier designers in Cape Town.
The dress is fitted but flowy satin with beautiful lace and pearl details. The sheer top makes it look and feel like a strapless dress without worrying about any slippage. The short train makes you feel like a bride, without too much bulk. If you are looking for an elegant, designer dress without the US-designer price tag, this is it!
I'm 5'10", 133 lbs and wearing flats in all the photos. There was enough length easily to add a 1" heel. If you are in the Bay Area, you're welcome to message me to try it on.
