The Dress

The Alexandra is an absolutely stunning gown with a V neck, capped sleeves and a fishtail train. It made me feel like a princess on my special day, and made my bum look amazing!

The train can be tied up so you can dance easily, and although the dress is made up primarily of sequins, you don't notice the weight while dancing - I was able to dance the night away!

I fell in-love with the dress because of its heavily embroidered, floral motives and sequins. The design is so exquisite, I felt that a tulle overlay wasn't required because I didn't want to cover up the beautiful, handcrafted design of the dress.

I chose the Alexandra over the Caitlyn because I'm quite pale. The warm, ivory sequins suited my skin tone much better than the white sequins in the Caitlyn dress.

The gown is a size 8. I had breast cups sown in so I wouldn't have to wear a bra. I also had it hemmed to fit my height (165cm) with 4inch (10cm) heels.

I tore a hole at the bottom of the train, and have had it repaired so that it's not noticeable.
