The Dress

I wore the Inca dress at our wedding in October this year. It was so unbelievably comfortable and I received so many comments about it on the day. I was very careful with it on the day, as I knew I wanted to pass it onto someone else to enjoy. Comes in the original box, with the GLL hanger, and GLL dress bag.

A unique combination of French and Japanese lace, paired with a flattering fit and a statement low back. Like a piece of art, the Inca features unique shapes and contouring, designed to highlight the female figure in the most flattering way.

Designed with a straight boat neck and a barely there, 7/8 length sleeve, the Inca has been cleverly constructed with all the right elements. The daringly low back is the highlight of this exquisite gown, which will be remembered for years to come. The unique paneling, made up of layers of handpicked French lace, Japanese cotton lace, hand cut motifs and sheer, detailed cutouts, gives the Inca a romantic, yet contemporary feel. The stretch lining is available in ivory or nude, with the option of a mid-thigh length or a more formal floor length, depending on personal style. The Inca is finished with an elegant train, handmade from layers of carefully curated lace and Italian silk.

Other info...
1. I got a bustle placed at the back so I could hook up my dress straight after the ceremony so the train wouldn’t get ruined. You don’t notice it at all when the train is down.
2. I also got cups sewn into the lining so I didn’t have to worry about wearing chicken fillets on the day.
3. I have gotten the dress professionally cleaned, however there is a small amount of soiling around the base of the hem which you can barely see when the dress is on.
4. I was told by the GLL girls that the dress would stretch up to 5cm, so it will fit those who are a bit bigger than myself (I am 163.5cm and weight 60kg)
