The Dress

I am selling my gorgeous Grace Loves Lace Clare dress, which was made for my wedding in Canberra, Australia in October 2017. It's a dream dress! Comfortable, elegant and understated - I received so many compliments on this dress, and it looked amazing in the photos.

Size: Australian size 12/medium, but would also fit size 10 or size 14 (with small bust) as it just pulls on over the head. For sizing guide, please see Grace Loves Lace website. NOTE: Underbust is size 10 (73.5cm - 78cm), not size 12.

Dress length: I am 165cm tall and wore 8cm heels on the day. The dress can be easily shortened. It does not have a train.

What's included: The dress comes in its original box. A plain ivory ribbon is also included with the dress (worn around the waist, tied at the back). Can also include dry cleaned Grace Loves Lace Gabriela veil for an additional $250 (used, bought for $450).

Postage costs: Depend on location.

I believe that Grace Loves Lace no longer sells this dress, so buying second-hand is the only way to get your hands on one.

From the designer's website: Clare is one of those dresses that just looks stunning on everyone. Featuring a flattering shape with stretch Swiss embroidery at the torso with a scooped neck and back complimented by whimsical beaded statement sleeves. Hugging the body to the waist which is met with a simplistic silk chiffon skirt and an optional train. Complete the look by adding our Ricci or Rock n Roll belt at the waist. Suits all body shapes and sizes. A gorgeous and feminine dress designed for the romantic at heart looking for natural elegance. To create a more detailed skirt you can add the Indi or Dotti skirt.

We envision our Clare brides with natural makeup, dewey skin, our Gabriela veil and Rock n Roll belt for a perfectly dreamy look. A beautiful dress to wear, Clare stretches over the head and pulls down over the body without zips or buttons including an elastic waist. Made from ivory stretch Swiss embroidery and silk chiffon that are lovely and soft to wear. The beaded sleeves are also soft to touch and lightweight. Suits all body shapes and sizes.

The embroidery itself is an ivory stretch Swiss embroidery with a corded dimensional leaf pattern on a soft mesh base. A light and delicate embroidery with a beautiful pearly thread.

This dress has been dry cleaned and stored in a smoke free home. It was made to order, so there have been no alterations.

There are some very faint discolourations on the hem of the dress, where it skims the floor, but these are not noticeable.

The Gabriela veil (if you choose to purchase) has some darker discolourations at the hem, but again, these are not very noticeable.
